Students Help Local Businesses Succeed: Bradley Senior Consulting Project

Bradley University’s Illinois Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) is accepting applications from local businesses that would like to participate in a faculty-led, student-run Senior Consulting Project for the Fall 2019 semester.  If a business needs help in the areas of marketing strategy, feasibility study, strategic growth plan, or launching a new product or service, the Senior Consulting Projects Program is a great option them.

Below are examples of past projects:

  • Business plan for a new venture or product
  • Marketing plan and associated financials for a new product or service
  • Study evaluating the feasibility of establishing a business or new location
  • Strategic analysis of how to combat reduced market share from competitive entry
  • Reorganization plan following massive corporate downsizing
  • Short and long term business plan
  • Analysis of emerging technology
  • Business plan to guide the development & implementation of a new strategic business unit
  • A plan for the development & implementation of a direct marketing customer database
  • Development of a strategic, financial, and information system for an existing small business
  • A plan analyzing the feasibility and implementation issues of an advanced engineering training program
  • Analysis of major financial decision on whether to go public
  • A plan for analyzing outsourcing decisions
  • Feasibility and market analysis
  • Environmental Industry Analysis
  • Strategic growth plan

To be considered for the Fall 2019 Semester (August 28 – December 11), you must submit your application by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 2.
